Money runs through a Venmo pool this year - chip in up front, settle after. Pay up before the put-in; the pool remembers. Exact numbers firm up once the RSVP count is in.

BLM Boater Pass (Lower Deschutes) - required per person per day; sells out August weekends
Oregon AIS Permit - one per boat, same rule as always
River Trails Rafting - 844-GOT-RAFT, last year's outfitter
Deschutes River Adventures - rentals from $110 weekday, $20 shuttle
USGS Deschutes flow gauge (Madras) - check before launch
Maupin weather forecast - pack for 90s and 40s anyway
